Access: SHM VZR SPL (08007) is the only weekly train running between Shalimar and Baripada. It departs Shalimar at 4:38 PM and reaches Baripada at 9:17 PM, taking approximately 5 hours. Baripada Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Similipal National Park, approximately 60 kilometers away. If you're traveling from Howrah or Santragachi to Similipal National Park, taking the road to Baripada Entry Gate is a convenient option. The journey should last around 4 hours and 42 minutes, covering a distance of 227 kilometers.

Day 01 : Howrah Santragachi - Similipal Nature Retreat
- Howrah Satragachi to Similipal Nature Retreat is about 227 km and it should take about 4 hours 42 minutes to get here by car.
- Enjoy a delicious Lunch at the cafeteria in Similipal Nature Retreat, where we serve authentic local dishes in a clean and roomy setting.
- In the evening, have a boating experience with the Tour Guide with tea and snacks by the riverside seating area, or opt for the bonfire with live music during dinner time.
Day 02 : Similipal Nature Retreat - Jungle Safari
- Start Early at 6 am for Similipal National Park, jungle safari, You'll encounter a diverse range of wildlife, from tigers and elephants to deer and various bird species.
- Safari through the national park's core & buffer area in a jeep, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will highlight fascinating sights and wildlife.
- Barehipani Waterfall: This is the second-highest waterfall in India, cascading down from a height of approximately 500 meters .
- Joranda Falls: Another magnificent waterfall in Similipal National Park, Joranda Falls boasts a height of 180 meters . The surrounding landscape is equally captivating, with dense forests and scenic hills.
- Lunch at the government-approved cafeteria and enjoy local cuisine while surrounded by nature.
- After enjoying a delicious lunch, Barheipani becomes an enchanting spot renowned for its serene lake. This location is immersed in vibrant greenery and teems with a lively community of birds.

Day 03 : Similipal Nature Retreat - Howrah, Santragachi
- After enjoying some tea and breakfast, we're heading back to Howrah.
NOTE: Similipal National Park becomes unreachable during the monsoon season (June to September) because of the heavy rainfall and road closures.
